Engine is heart to move vehicle. It is very complicated and delicate.
Therefore, you must be careful when replacing engine valves.
Especially older vehicles may have deformed and aging components.
In order to install engine valves successfully, please pay attention to the following.
Point 01
When inserting an engine valve
Clean the cylinder head using a fresh clean rag. Then apply a little engine oil to the valve guide.
Point 02
Seating the engine valves
Use rough compound for the first lapping. When the seat surface touches with the engine valve, use fine compound for finish lapping.
Point 03
Stem
Apply a small volume of compound on 3 positions of the engine valve. At this moment, never apply the compound on the stem of the engine valve.
Point 04
Rotate in only one direction
Align the engine valve with the engine
Rotate the valve in only one direction.
Point 05
Check the seating of the valve again
After matching the engine valve, apply a small amount of engine oil with red lead. Then check the matching of the engine valve. Before installing the valve, clean its face and the valve seat using a clean shop rag.
Point 06
Do not insert valves with excessive force
When inserting the engine valve into the valve guide, gently insert so that it will enter smoothly into the valve guide. Never force it.
